On Tuesday night’s episode of The Voice Australia tension between the four judges and one very unhappy contestant reached an all-time high.
Halfway through the episode, we were introduced to Kirrah Amosa who took to the stage to perform her favourite song, “Let Me Love You” by Rita Ora. Following her performance, the singer was so upset the judges didn’t turn their chairs or respond well to her rendition that she abruptly stormed off the stage.
Offering his first bit of feedback, Boy George told Kirrah: “You sounded a little nervous and that’s completely understandable. I know we say this a lot, but the more you do this, the better you’ll become.”
Delta then chimed in, admitting that while “there were some great moments” throughout the performance, she wasn’t convinced she was ready to make it past the blind auditions.
“What I was picking on is you don’t have to be loud to be heard. Being louder doesn’t necessarily mean we hear you,” she said, before Guy Sebastian added, “I’m sensing there’s a little wall up right now. I feel like you were pushing because when you sing, you’re trying to prove a point?”
Unreceptive to their criticism Delta changed her tone… and that didn’t sit well with the aspiring star.
“I don’t feel like you’re listening to any of our advice,” she said, before the camera cut to Kirrah storming off stage in a fit of rage.

Speaking to the producers afterwards, Kirrah said she didn’t appreciate their feedback.
“Just because four people don’t like the way I sound at that time doesn’t mean seven billion other people won’t.”
