Known for getting bigger and bigger every year, the Halftime Show is the main attraction for many people – sorry sports fans.

However, until Michael Jackson‘s iconic 1993 show, the Halftime Show once consisted of marching bands instead of superstars – aside from the occasional celebrity cameo.

But Bad Bunny’s performance was nothing short of mesmerising. In case you missed it, here’s all the wildest moments from the record-breaking performance:

Celeb appearances during the Halftime Show

The famous faces danced to the music as the Puerto Rican singer sang his hit songs.

Lady Gaga’s surprise performance

Lady Gaga delighted fans as she took to the stage to perform a fun, sped-up version of her and Bruno Mars’ song – Die With A Smile.

While Bad Bunny sang in Spanish, Lady Gaga sang the hit song in English.

Ricky Martin was also a surprise performer, with the emotional moment linking the two popular Puerto Rican singers as they celebrated their shared heritage.

The three words Bad Bunny didn’t say in Spanish

Bad Bunny made history as the first ever Halftime Show performer to sing exclusively in Spanish.

However, the three words he did say in English were poignant.

“God bless America.”

The choice definitely seemed intentional, with his selection for the Halftime Show prompting backlash from some.

Immigration is highly contentious topic in the US at the moment, and some voiced they were unhappy that an artist with South American roots was being platformed.

President Donald Trump even claimed to have never heard of Bad Bunny (who is one of the most streamed artists in the world) when he was asked about his thoughts on Bad Bunny being choosen.

Many deemed Trump’s words a backhanded comment, however, Bad Bunny three-word message during his performance suggests he is eager for unity at a time of such significant political unrest.

Bad Bunny’s Grammy reference

A sweet moment during the show included a reference to Bad Bunny’s recent Grammy win.

DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS won Best Album of the Year at the 2026 Grammys and became the first album sung entirely in Spanish to win the pretentious award.

What are viewers saying about the Halftime Show?
