Gwyneth Paltrow and GOOP fans planning to travel to New York would be pleased to hear that the lifestyle brand has opened its first permanent store in New York City.
What started as a passion project and regular newsletter, Paltrow’s GOOP brand has turned into a highly successful business worth $250 million with many dedicated fans and followers around the world.
Goop opened its first store in California and due its exponential success has now expanded to New York.
Nestled in the popular Noho neighbourhood, GOOP’s chief merchandising officer says “"Every city we go to, we try to find a shop that feels like our home—from the interior of the space to the exterior and location in the town," and “"The block on Bond Street feels reminiscent of old New York with its cobblestones, friendly cafés where locals stop for their morning coffee, neighborhood restaurants with outdoor dining, and artist studios dotting the streets. The neighborhood felt like home to us."
According to store designer Steven Johanknecht the store “has such a variety of products that it's almost like a mini department store put within a home."
The store carries homewares, beauty and fashion including pieces from friend Victoria Beckham’s collection and it is said that the vibe of the store is “old, beautiful Hollywood homes.”
The store is located on Bond Street. Make sure you add this to your New York travel to-do list!
