From contestants quitting mere days into the show, snake bites and the usual dose of drama, this season of I'm a Celeb had it all.
Whilst Peter Hellier was pegged to win the series by fans, his surprise elimination in the final week saw Liz Ellis become the new front-runner of the season.
Even the freshly eliminated put their money on Liz, including Ian "Dicko" Dickson, who shared with Dr Chris Brown and Julia Morris he had "no doubt" she would take the crown.
"She's one of the single most impressive human beings I've had the pleasure of ever spending time with."
And it looks like fans were right! Liz officially won the series, donating her cash prize to Share the Dignity.
“When I was thinking about my charity that I wanted to support, I walked into my local library with my kids, and in the toilet, there was what’s called a dignity vending machine and I was intrigued,” she revealed during her time in camp.
“I found out about it and the charity is called Share the Dignity and it works to provide period products to women who are fleeing domestic violence, who are homeless, who are living in poverty, who are living on the breadline. It just hit me that there will be so many women who would have to make the choice whether to buy period products or whether to buy food to put on the table.
“I’ve got a little girl and I’d hate for her to be in that position.”
Liz now joins the likes of Abbey Chatfield, Casey Donovan and Miguel Maestre who have all won the show.
I'm A Celeb has captured the hearts of Aussies since its debut in 2015, with fans loving the intimate look into celeb's lives in the jungle...plus the healthy dose of surprises contestants need to overcome in the battle for the title of King or Queen of the Jungle.
This season marks the end of Dr Chris Brown's role on the show, as he leaves his role as co-host after eight years.
“It’s definitely been [difficult], and that’s been because I love the show so much," he told news.com.au "It’s been hard to count down how many shows you have left, and realise it’s the last time you do this or that."
“But it’s allowed me to treasure every single day I’ve had over here. It’s also given the entire crew the chance to crack jokes about it.”
