Jessica Mauboy will represent Australia in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.
The Australian star will head to Lisbon, Portugal for the international competition to be aired on SBS in May next year.
Fans will know that this isn’t Mauboy’s first time on the Eurovision stage.
In 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark The Secret Daughter actress was the first non-European artist to perform as an interval act.
“I will sing my heart out for Australia, I’m so proud to be officially representing my country and a little bit nervous – mainly about the stress of the dress!” Mauboy said of the news.
The 2018 Eurovision Song Contest will broadcast exclusively on SBS from May 9 to13, 2018.
