Miley Cyrus is somewhat of a hairstyle chameleon. Ever since the “Wrecking Ball” singer did away with her squeaky clean Hannah Montana image, she has been experimenting with cuts, colours and bespoke pieces.
Now, Miley has come clean and confessed on Instagram that the latest changes to her tresses came out of boredom.
“Bleached my f*ing natural healthy a$$ hair rebelling out of boredom while dealing with a consecutive amount of time off on the Woody project ( 2 months ago)! (sic) Sitting in a random apartment with nothing to do but smoke weed.”
However this new hairstyle is not one she is a fan of, “something inside told me I’d regret it….” writes Miley.
Reflecting on her actions, Miley offers advice to young people worried about their looks and her take on the bigger picture issues going on in the world.
“I felt like a self obsessed psycho while real issues are out there in the world needing to be dealt with I was sitting in front of a mirror going thru strand by strand.”
Cyrus, who was recently spotted in Byron Bay re-uniting with former flame Liam Hemsworth offered a post-script, noting she wished she’d gone outside and done something productive instead of the bleach job that will now have to grow out or be dramatically cut.
