Tension is rising in the Big Brother Australia house this year! As controversial contestants continue making a scene, some housemates are starting to get fed up, leading to those all-too-familiar clashes and rivalries that fans know and love.
The most jarring housemate this year has been 23-year-old Ebony, who has spent her time in the house not helping out with chores, complaining, and calling the other housemates “peasants” and “hobos”.
The contestant even admitted to WHO before the show aired that she’s “a little b—hy” and was excited to “just go in there and just create some chaos and just enjoy [her] time.”
“I’m a boss at home, and I want to be the boss in the Big Brother house, but we’ll see how I go,” she added.
While Charity had a meaningful conversation with Ebony about her behaviour, she still hasn’t seemed to learn her lesson.
As Ebony tried to explain her behaviour and insensitive language in front of the group, Kyrah bit back, causing Ebony to tell her to “woman up” and pull her aside if she has a problem.
After this, Kyrah explained that everyone already has. From Charity to Phoebe, it seems the women in the house are losing their patience with Ebony and are sick of explaining what’s wrong with her behaviour, especially since Ebony hasn’t really changed.
Now, Harmon, Kyrah, and Ebony are up for eviction, and Australia has the power to decide. However, despite Ebony’s polarising behaviour, it seems there is one detail that may keep her in the house a little longer.

Fans divided over whether to evict Ebony
When Big Brother 2026 first kicked off, fans were fuming at Ebony’s behaviour, demanding for her to be the first eviction.
Now, it seems many viewers have changed their tune as many disagree over whether they want Ebony to stay or go.
“I think Ebony is hilarious,” one fan wrote online. “She is entertaining and stands out from the rest. She apologised for the name-calling, but others are still being crybabies about it. People get way too offended these days. Look at the one yelling. She is the one upsetting the house. Kyrah is no fun to watch.”
“Ebony is way too entertaining to evict this early in the season,” another viewer agreed. “Yes, Kyrah seems very high-strung. I think it’s all a bit much for her… I say SAVE Ebony this week.”
“How much are her parents paying you to post these?” a third joked.
However, not everyone is on board with the entertainment Ebony is providing, pointing out that even though she has apologised, she “keeps saying the same things, so it makes the apology invalid”.
“Obviously you’re not watching live streaming,” one user commented online. “She’s so entitled. Mathew picked it up, sucking up to Austin to win over the public.”
“Swearing at people is offensive and shouldn’t be acceptable,” another agreed. “She is a try-hard rich girl. She might actually be a nice person if she could behave like a peasant.”
The reason Ebony could survive eviction
Entertainment value aside, many fans have also pointed out the reason that Ebony may survive the first eviction.
“Ebony’s a plant to get everyone arcked up,” one long-time viewer suggested.
“I think she is just playing a character and that’s all,” another pointed out, explaining that her behaviour isn’t real and is just to create “drama”.
Surprisingly, some viewers have actually poured out sympathy for Ebony, choosing to keep her in the house as she still has “so much to learn”.
“She is very socially awkward,” one user commented. “You don’t call people peasants and hobos, but that must be what she was brought up with sadly. I think she can and will learn a lot from this experience by being around everyday people.”
