Remember that sweet teenage actress Amanda Bynes that kind of lost her shiz? Well after a controversial few years (social media spouts, drug abuse etc.) the brunette beauty has cleaned up her act and covers the new issue of Paper magazine headlined “PAPER VOWS TO BREAK THE INTERNET WITH COVER STAR AMANDA BYNES”
Dressed in a very on-trend checked jacket with Levis and sporting high-end brands such as Sandro Paris, Dries Van Noten and Moschino, Bynes opens up to the magazine about her tumultuous past: “I’m really ashamed and embarrassed with the things I said. I can’t turn back time but if I could, I would,” Bynes often used social media as an outlet for her impulsive thoughts and emotional reactions (Google the Drake one, it’s great.) something she is regretful of now, “And I’m so sorry to whoever I hurt and whoever I lied about because it truly eats away at me. It makes me feel so horrible and sick to my stomach and sad.”
In a strange but inspiring turn of events, Amanda decided to get off the acting train for awhile and enrolled into FIDM fashion school in Los Angeles in 2014 after watching Lauren Conrad on The Hills. I mean, we ALL wanted to do that after watching The Hills. The now 32-year-old will be getting her Associate’s of Art degree in Merchandise Product Development this month and will also be taking on a bachelor’s degree in January!
Bynes has expressed that she has been sober for “almost four years now” and says her parents got her “back on track.”
We love a good comeback.
