Ariana Grande covers the December issue of Billboard magazine as she is named this year’s ‘Woman of the Year’
After experiencing so much pain and trauma the last couple of years, the singer has definitely earned this well-deserved WOTY title.
Grande says “There’s not much I’m afraid of anymore”. The brown hair beauty displays a strong face on the magazine cover that perfectly reflects this powerful statement.
Photographer Miller Mobley captures the demure singer in the beautiful spread, the most notable image being the floor-length burgundy gown she is wearing which is captioned, “I live fast and full-out, and I make mistakes, and I learn from them and I’m grateful no matter what happens.”-
Speaking of living fast, the 25-year-old also shared her new tattoo on Instagram only a couple of days ago. Inked by Brooklyn tattoo artist Mira Mariah, the tattoo is of a half-moon placed next to a cluster of stars with the sun in the centre. The sweetest part of this story though is that Grande’s 93 yr. old grandmother also got a tattoo! Nonna Grande’s ink is on the inside of her left ring finger with the word “Ciccio” the Italian word for Frank, dedicated to her late husband Francesco.
Ariana accepted the actual award on Thursday night at the Billboard Woman of the Year awards (see the full gallery here) and expressed “I find it interesting that this has been one of the best years of my career and the worst of my life,”
