Paco Rabanne is a renowned fashion brand founded by the late innovative Spanish-born French designer Francisco “Paco” Rabaneda Cuervo. Known for its avant-garde approach, the brand gained fame in the 1960s for using unconventional materials like metal and plastic to create futuristic fashion designs.

“As a designer, I’ve always been interested in exploring hedonism and empowerment,” Julien Dossner the creative director of Rabanne since 2013 explained.

“I was very enthusiastic to work with H&M on a collection that will introduce Rabanne’s avant-garde energy to a wider audience in a democratic way.”

The Rabanne H&M collection will include womenswear, menswear, shoes and accessories as well as a H&M Home decor capsule.

On the H&M website, the fashion retailer describes the collection as “bringing together the carefree exuberance of the 1970s, the optimistic futurism of Rabanne and a touch of retro-inflected romance.

“Rabanne H&M flirts with fantasy, dances through decades and dreams about the future,” the site continues. “The collection channels a modern vision of approachable opulence, joy and confidence.”
