The star tends to shy away from sparkle, but this decadently embellished pale pink strapless dress makes us think she should bring a little bling back into her wardrobe rotation.

Also known as the time the star wore four Diors in one day – but our favourite was this simple black-and-white column with a ruffle at the waist, which was perfectly complemented by her red lip and emerald jewels at the Jimmy P premiere.

Her gown sounded crazy on paper – wait, it’s got obliques cut-outs and a front flap? – But the simple cut, bold colour and the 156 carats of Chopard jewels made Jennifer shine.

Her pale yellow slip-inspired gown was sexy from all angles, but her glossy bob and jewels (Nigaam earrings and an EFFY Jewelry cocktail ring) kept the vibe polished.

The theme of that year was “Punk: Chaos to Couture,” so of course the star went with a ladylike floral-embroidered tea-length dress. Sure, it may not have made a ton of sense, but she looked darn good doing it.

A drop-waist midi-dress with a ballooning skirt is not the easiest thing to wear, but the Girl on Fire hit the bullseye (sorry, mixing our Hunger Games metaphors, but you get the point).

The star won the Oscar that year, but she deserved another award for managing to make her pale pink silk ball gown (worn with Chopard jewels strung down her back) look as elegant after a fall as it did standing up.

She made fans anxiously stand by for a glimpse of her on the red carpet, but pretty much everyone agreed that this lined lace-and-tulle number (worn with Chopard diamonds) was worth the wait
