Supermodel Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kusher tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in upstate New York on Oct. 18.
“The wedding was intimate and moving,” a friend who attended the ceremony told PEOPLE exclusively. “The couple was beaming with happiness.”
The model went high-fashion for her big day, choosing a custom Dior design, created by the label’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiur. The lace wedding gown featured an illusion-style V-neckline made of sheer lace and matching sheer lace long sleeves. A long cathedral-style veil accented the rest of her voluminous gown that featured a full skirt and billowy train.

Karlie had all three of her sisters — Karianne, Kristine and Kimberly Kloss — in her special “bride tribe.”
Although Karlie’s longtime friend Taylor Swift couldn’t attend the wedding because she performed a sold-out show in Australia the next day, the ceremony was attended by model Ashley Graham, who called the wedding “fantastic.”
She added, “[Karlie] was so beautiful — and so happy. It was my first Jewish wedding. [Joshua]’s so sweet and kind. They’re both just sweet, genuine and kind people, and I’m so happy for both of them.”
