Australian actress Margot Robbie covers the latest issue of PORTER magazine. Headlined “MARGOT ROBBIE: THE NEW QUEEN OF HOLLYWOOD” the face of Calvin Klein’s Deep Euphoria fragrance and Chanel ambassador talks marriage and kids in the new interview…
Shot by photographer Yelena Yemchuk , the blonde beauty (and notably one of the most likeable actresses in the movie industry) is captured in that perfect, warm L.A light. The vibe of the shoot has an almost 70’s feel to it, which suits Margot to a tee (as would any era as she naturally possesses that ‘old Hollywood glamour’).
Robbie who has always remained quite private about her personal life opens up to PORTER magazine about her marriage to Tom Acklerley, she says “I always thought, ‘Urrgghhhh, being married sounds really boring.’ I thought I might bite the bullet in my late thirties and see how it goes.”
However, life had other plans for Robbie who not only forged a hugely successful career but also found love. The pair met on set of a film where he was the third assistant director and the two quickly fell in love and married in 2016 in Byron Bay. Robbie shares that they never spend more than two weeks apart saying “Even if we both have to fly to a country in-between where we both are for one night, we’ll do it and then fly back to work the next day,” The Australian native also says “Being married is actually the most fun ever, life got way more fun somehow. I have a responsibility being someone’s wife, I want to be better.”

When asked about having kids, Robbie answers in jest with this sweet anecdote “Three days ago my husband stopped by a dog shelter on the way back from the airport, and we now have a pit-bull puppy,”. My husband’s saying, ‘No! We’re keeping her.’ And I’m saying, ‘We absolutely cannot and if anything, you are now cementing in my mind that we cannot have kids. I can’t cope with two puppies, let alone children!” but she quickly gets sentimental “If I’m looking into my future 30 years from now, I want to see a big Christmas dinner with tons of kids there,” she says. “But definitely not at the moment. That’s 100 percent certain.”
