What’s your go-to feel-good outfit?

I feel my best when I’m wearing something clean and polished. I don’t like to wear a lot of prints or branding, so a clean rib top under a blazer and a pair of tailored pants or jeans always does the trick.

How does your mum wardrobe differ from your working wardrobe?

There are definitely two versions of me. When I’m with the boys [Aston, 7, and Henley, 4], I love to be comfortable in loungewear so I can play with them as they are both super active. I introduced Henne loungewear to the category mix a few years ago with this in mind. Our recent lounge collection was designed to pare back with our ready-to-wear collection as I tend to wear my seamless leggings with an oversized trench or blazer and sneakers.

What are three key pieces in your capsule wardrobe this winter?

A beautiful beige trench coat, a pair of straight leg jeans – especially in a slightly darker indigo – and a perfectly fitted blazer. If you have these three items, everything else can work around it.

What’s on your wishlist for spring/summer?

I am so sunglasses-obsessed at the moment. Saint Laurent and Bottega always hit the mark with sunglasses.

Can you tell us the inspiration behind your recent collection shown at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week?

This season’s collection pays homage to ’80s power dressing and Y2K sensibilities with a quiet, understated confidence. Chroma explores powerful feminine silhouettes through oversized and padded shoulders, masculine pant shapes and traditional suiting fabrics contrasted with flashes of skin and emphasis on the waist.

Who is the Henne woman?

She appreciates high-quality pieces that complement her core wardrobe with longevity. She has a love for fashion, beauty and wellness. She appreciates and engages with brands that embrace a sense of community, where she feels confident and engaged.

What’s next for Henne?

We’re currently looking at opening a store in Sydney next year which we’re really excited about. I also recently visited Los Angeles as we are now looking to expand our offering to an overseas audience.
