Between her lakefront mansion in Texas, a hilltop compound in Wyoming, a $16.2 million townhouse in New York and a Gothic Victorian mansion in New Orleans, Sandra Bullock isn’t short on homes to stay in when she’s in need of a change of scenery from her luxe Beverly Hills estate.

But if the actress, 57, ever feels the need to feel the sea on her skin, she only has to drive down to Malibu where she owns not one, but two oceanfront properties.

The Oscar winner scooped up the first of these in June 2018, paying $11.5 million for the private home within a prestigious Malibu enclave – complete with full-time security and neighbours like Halle Berry.

Built in the late ’70s, the four-bedroom, four-bathroom pad is certainly in need of a refresh – but the stunning ocean views from the balcony make up for its slightly dated interiors.

Bullock also used to count Friends star Matthew Perry as a neighbour before he sold his pad last year.

There’s no shortage of space in the main bathroom, with a double sink and shower.

The kitchen may have a ’90s vibe to it – with its granite countertops and dark-stained cabinetry – but the stainless steel appliances add a modern edge.
