Venice Film Festival red carpet hits

Sadie Sink really can do no wrong, making her VFF debut in this divine Alexander McQueen number.

The cape, the colour, the jewelled details – this dress is a statement and Olivia Wilde pulls it off flawlessly.

Florence Pugh looks phenomenal in this sheer black Valentino number but it’s the statement shoes that really pulls this look together.

Gemma Chan in silver is something we never knew we needed but god does she look amazing.

In a bold fashion move, Timothee Calamet rocked a backless red ensemble by Haider Ackermann that made headlines in the fashion world. We’re just glad he wasn’t dressed in a boring black suit.

This is how you do Barbiecore. Alessandra Ambrosio took feminine to the next level in this pink Ermanno Scervino gown.

Okay, we know we just dissed plain black suits, but hear us out: if anyone can get away with this look it’s Regé-Jean Page. Just look at him.

Fellow Bridgerton star Simone Ashley proved you can rock red on the red carpet in this metallic column dress by Armani Privé.

Emma Chamberlain found fame on social media but she’s proving she’s a rising fashion star in a slinky white Roberto Cavalli gown on the VFF red carpet.

She also wowed in this vintage Valentino dress with edgy styling and a slicked-back ponytail.

Cate Blanchett in a black velvet Schiaparelli corset stuffed with flowers? Iconic.
Venice Film Festival red carpet misses

Sorry Zooey Deschanel, it’s just not doing it for us.

We really do see what Harry Styles was going for in this ’70s inspired outfit, but it’s just not hitting. Sorry Hazza.

Do Maude Apatow and Sydney Sweeney look nice? Yes. Did we expect something more exciting from the stars of Euphoria? Also yes.

Sex Education’s Aimee Lou Wood is stunning but this oversized design sadly isn’t letting her shine.

Why is Hillary Clinton even at VFF? This look is giving more “holiday to Bali” than red carpet chic.

Tess Thompson is a fashion icon but this Armani Privé ensemble certainly isn’t her best.

Greta Ferro looks cool in this but we almost wish the top was totally sheer for that edgy naked dress effect.
