Yesterday, international fashion house, Tommy Hilfiger announced actress Zendaya as their new Global Women’s Ambassador and Co-designer for the Tommy x Zendaya collaborative collection. She will be taking over the position from supermodel Gigi Hadid.
While maintaining a high level of elegant and on-trend style, securing the ambassador role has helped to elevate her fashion status.
The Spider-man: Homecoming actress together with her stylist and close friend, Law Roach, met with Tommy Hilfiger to begin the partnership.
“I love to collaborate with people who are passionate about making their dreams a reality and who inspire the next generation to do the same,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “Zendaya has become a global icon, using fashion to make bold statements while always staying true to herself. Our capsule collection will fuse her eclectic style with the Americana spirit of our brand.”
Zendaya will appear in the brand’s Spring 2019 campaign and will begin co-designing for the upcoming Tommy x Zendaya collection.
