WATCH: MAFS' Stacey reveals how she feels about ex Michael dating KC
In the midst of this harrowing pandemic, despite the trip from Sydney to Melbourne being legal, many said that flaunting their wealth during a time where people are suffering seems distasteful, tacky and offensive.
"Just remember, things are hard for all Australians now. Don't sell yourself short and act like this in photos. You didn't have to show all the photos of inside the plane. That is just showing off," one person commented on the dance instructor's post which included snaps of the smitten couple posing alongside the plane.
KC splashed photos across her Instagram which didn't please fans.
KC and Michael went public with their relationship last week.
"Why are you even travelling? Fake! Stupid! Pathetic with no morals!!!! Money doesn’t make you classy. Look at yourselves. Drew had it right!!!! He saw through the outside part into the rotten, materialistic, superficial person you really are!!!! F***ing stay home," another furious follower commented.
"It's nice to know that social distancing lockdown rules don't apply to people with money. Such a shame. Probably not the time to be flaunting travelling, fame and wealth... just saying 🤷🏼♀️."
"Really? A private jet? Other Australians are struggling to get home once they are here, they are in quarantine for two weeks."
"Probably not the time to be flaunting travelling, fame and wealth."
After noticing these comments, KC, 31, was quick to defend herself, not so subtly asking her followers to back off!
"Some days are like this. Some days I’m in my sweats with a messy bun looking shit going to the supermarket. Other days I’m teaching dance to kids.
"I am a normal person that experiences highs and lows and I will be showing all of that. I have no disregard to what is going on in the world and I do what I can to give back and to encourage kids. I’m not perfect but this is MY LIFE and I will live how I want."
"(KC called and said) 'Hey babe, do you mind if Michael and I caught up for drinks, he's coming to Sydney?'" Stacey explained. "I was like, 'You can do whatever you'd want, but it'd hurt me. I loved the guy.'"
While the single mother of two tried to brush it off, she was deeply hurt by the request seeing as she leant on KC when her alleged affair with Mikey Pembroke spelled the end of her romance with Michael.
"That hurt me the most, that she was there when I was hurting," she said, adding she often confided in KC about her tumultuous relationship with the Adelaide businessman.
