Jessika Power is really twisting the knife into her poor, poor husband, Mick Gould.
Despite Mick begging to end their ‘marriage’ on Sunday night’s Married At First Sight, the the Queensland farmer, 31, is now forced to spend another week with the 27-year-old admin assistant after she chose to remain in the experiment instead.
'No you didn't? Please... re-draw... why!' cried Mick, after Jessika made her decision.
To which Jessika replied: 'This decision was really hard. I can't give up on this knowing that we don't even have a friendship.
The rules of MAFS state that if one partner chooses to remain in the experiment - the couple must continue for one more week.
'It doesn't sit well with me if there's hatred there. I don't want to hate him and I don't want him to hate me.'
Viewers will do doubt have realised that despite telling mick she wanted to repair their friendship, her real motivation for staying in the experiement was to continue her ‘affair’ with groom Dan.
Hitting back, Mick responded: 'Well you're doing a good job of [making me hate you] by making me stay here.'
'Wouldn't you want some level of respect or friendship there?' asked Jessika.
'I don't have fake friends on the outside world and I don't want any more here.'
Speaking to producers afterwards, Mick continued: 'Of course I'm not happy with the decision, it's bloody rubbish. I'm sort of flabbergasted at the moment.'
