Emelia Jackson may have taken the 2020 MasterChef crown, but the real star of the show was a certain traditional Scottish outfit donned by judge Jock Zonfrillo.
In honour of the grand final, Jock Zonfrillo donned his finest tartan kilt and ultimately upstaging both Melissa Leong and Andy Allen in the fashion department.
And whilst there was plenty of drama during the last episode of the series from Laura’s burn to the freezer door, fans couldn’t get enough of Jock embracing his Scottish roots on social media.
One penned: “The insanity of Jock telling contestants to ‘Calm down, collect your thoughts’ WHILE HE STANDS TWO FEET AWAY IN THE KILT. I mean, come on.”‘
“Jock’s outfit is my newest kilty pleasure…,” another punny fan wrote.

Jock, 43, who has previously spoken out about his unlikely sex symbol status, sent pulses racing in his Scottish garb.
“Jock in a kilt is the perfect intersection of my interests (my interests being food and Scottish men),” one wrote on social media.
Others were curious and wondered whether Jock was wearing the kilt in the traditional manner – that is to say with nothing on underneath.
“What’s Jock got under his kilt???” one viewer questioned.
“Let’s hope @Zonfrillo is wearing his jocks under that kilt,” joked another.
Comedian Em Rusciano even penned: “I feel personally attacked that there isn’t a dedicated Kilt cam tonight, I want cutaways to Jocks Sporran… SEXUAL INYOURENDO!”
Jock, who has worn his special tartan for special occasions including his wedding, has previously weighed in on his sex symbol status and finds it a little odd.
“Look, the whole ‘Hot Jocklate’ stuff is… It’s unusual and weird and different. It’s odd. It’s pretty hard, honestly, to get your around [it],” the chef told TV WEEK.
“I’m in my mid-forties and a father of three kids with another one on the way!”
The MasterChef judge added: “I’m not scouring around the internet fishing for compliments and I’m pretty past enjoying that kind of attention – it makes me feel super awkward!”
