Hundreds of Jake’s fans also commented on the post, thrilled that he and Megan are now back together.
“So glad u left bachie in paradise for Megan,” one fan commented, to which Jake replied, “SO AM I! 😊💕.”
“So here for this, glad you two found your way back to each other,” another follower commented, while others wrote, “Yay she accepted your rose! Love is not dead” and “this makes me so happy!”
Shortly after leaving Paradise back in July, Jake opened up to WHO about his decision to leave Fiji after he failed to form a connection with any of the female contestants, because he realised he was still in love with Megan.
“Very shortly after I hit the sand I just knew that it didn’t feel right,” the 34-year-old told WHO.
“I realised I already had the love I was looking for in my life – with Megan.”
He explained he believed the pair were destined to be together.
"We’ve been through so much together, from the high of meeting on a reality TV show and falling head over heels in love, to the fact that she was there for me when my mum Robyn died, aged 64, from breast cancer. That happened two weeks after we left Fiji in 2018. Megan was totally there for me then," Jake said.
"We fell in love and started a relationship just as I was going through the hardest thing in my life in losing my mum. We’ve had our ups and downs but I think we’re meant to be."
At the time, he said the pair weren't officially dating, but were still in contact with each other.
"It’s a ‘watch-this-space’ kind of thing right now. The door to our relationship is definitely not closed. We’re still very close and we’re working towards getting back together. That’s the goal but there’s a lot going on at the moment so hopefully love prevails."
Megan and Jake first began their relationship after meeting on Bachelor in Paradise in 2018.
Jake first rose to fame on Georgia Love's season of The Bachelorette, while Megan appeared on the 2016 season of The Bachelor with Richie Strachan.
After leaving The Bachelor, Megan entered into a same-sex relationship with fellow contestant Tiffany Scanlon, before the pair split in 2017.
