Andy Lee has split from girlfriend Rebecca Harding.
The radio star, 35, announced on his Hamish & Andy radio show on July 29 during a segment about kissing, that he and the 25-year-old public relations graduate had parted ways, telling co-host Hamish Blake: “Bec and I broke up a little while ago.”
Following their split, both Lee and Harding have taken themselves on holidays, with Harding sharing pictures of herself in Bali, Indonesia, while Lee has enjoyed a road trip around Europe with his friends during the radio ratings break.
Lee and Harding, who were last pictured together in June, went public with their relationship in January 2015 at the Australian Open.
Lee revealed on-air in July 2015 how the pair’s romance began, telling Blake: “Bec and I met at a cafe… I quite like her.”
“She was a waitress. I caught her eye and I was attracted to her. Just the way she was treating other people, she had a lovely demeanour,” he told listeners.
After Harding served him, Lee worked up the courage to speak to her – eventually leaving a note on the napkin for her.
“I was trying to chat to her, so I was ordering a lot,’” he said. “I had like an hour and a half breakfast and you know I don’t really like that because I like getting in and out in food situations.”
