Since relocating to the US more than a decade ago, Melbourne-born chef Curtis Stone has forged a culinary empire his contemporaries cna only dream of – managing two of LA’s hottest restaurants, fronting a string of TV shows and attracting high-profile fans like Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres.

And while the affable foodie may now call Tinseltown home, during an exclusive chat with WHO it becomes clear he is still an Aussie through and through.

From the gravelly “maaate”s that pepper our chat through to repeated references to his beloved Geelong Football Club, one thing’s for sure: Stone hasn’t gone Hollywood.

Speaking after a recent move to a sprawling new pad in LA with his wife, Californian-born actress Lindsay Price, and two young sons, Emerson, 3, and Hudson, 6, the 42-year-old reflects on the chaos of unpacked boxes and unassembled furniture around him, saying he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Stone met his now-wife on a blind date back in 2009, and after two years of dating they welcomed Hudson, before marrying in 2013, then adding second son Emerson to their family one year later.

Fresh from celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary two months ago, the TV chef beams when he talks about “his Linds”.

“She’s just a great chick,” he enthuses. “She makes me laugh every day, she’s given me the two best boys I could possibly wish for and she’s just super-cool. Of course, nothing is perfect—everyone has their ups and downs in a relationship, and we’re no different to anyone else, but for the most part we laugh and have a lot of fun.”
