It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years since one of the greatest romcoms of all-time hit our screens.
But a quarter of a century after its release, the cast of Four Weddings and a Funeral are back – and it’s all for a very good cause.
Watch the trailer below:
Back in December, Hugh Grant, Andie MacDowell, Kristin Scott Thomas, Rowan Atkinson, John Hannah, David Bower, James Fleet, David Haig, Rupert Vansittart, and the rest of the cast filmed a 12 minute sequel to the classic 1994 movie for Comic Relief‘s Red Nose Day 2019.
The highly anticipated follow-up, titled One Red Nose Day and a Wedding, will air in May.
It’ll be “the wedding of the year,” Grant boasts in the clip. “Special guests” are also promised.
One Red Nose Day and a Wedding was directed by the film’s original director, Mike Newell, and penned by the film’s original screenwriter Richard Curtis — who revealed in December that the sequel would take place 25 years after the original film at a fifth wedding.
“It’s going to have in it all the original cast… and then there’s also going to be a couple of younger people because 25 years have passed and it’s a wedding,” Curtis said.
The annual Red Nose Day, founded by Curtis, raises money to provide aid for children living in poverty around the world.
