ICYMI, speculation surrounding Sydney and Glen’s relationship first started to gain traction in early 2023 after fans quickly pointed out the off-screen chemistry between the pair during the Anyone But You press tour.
While they didn’t gain much traction initially, social media soon latched on once again after sources speaking to People in April 2023 reported that Glen and his then-girlfriend Gigi Paris had broken up after three years together.
As their joint appearances became more frequent, the duo continued to deliver even more cozy red carpet moments, but despite appearances, Sydney later claimed that it was all an act.
“It’s a rom-com. That’s what people want,” she told Variety, adding, “Glen and I don’t really care. We have so much fun together, and we respect each other so much.”
Echoing Sydney’s sentiments, Glen also opened up on their promotional acting masterclass, telling The New York Times, “The two things that you have to sell a rom-com are fun and chemistry. Sydney and I have a ton of fun together, and we have a ton of effortless chemistry.”
