The Los Angeles Times has reported that the “BedRock” rapper, 26, was supposed to appear in the Santa Monica court for questioning, after he failed to pay more than USD $480,000 in damages issued in March after trashing his rented Malibu home.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Nancy L Newman signed off on an arrest warrant and set bail at USD $10,000 after Tyga failed to show.

TMZ reported lawyers for the landlord claim Tyga’s purchase of a $200,000 Mercedes-Benz Maybach for girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s 19th birthday on August 10 was a fraudulent transfer of assets that should go to satisfy the judgement.

The case has been ongoing since 2012, with Tyga renting the Malibu home in 2011 for a monthly rate of USD $16,000.

Court documents state the home was altered and left in a poor condition when he left, and did not pay a month’s rent before leaving prematurely.
