June Shannon aka Mama June has officially been charged for possession of crack cocaine after her arrest in Alabama on March 13.
And now, her mugshot has been released.
Looking dishevelled and disorientated, the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star appears to be sneering in the image released by authorities.
The reality star was charged with a felony for the possession of a controlled substance, as well as a misdemeanour for possession of drug paraphernalia, according to The Blast.
The outlet reported that the substance was listed by officials as crack cocaine and ‘the paraphernalia was noted by officials as showing evidence of crack cocaine residue and was determined to be recently used.’
The mugshot of Shannon’s boyfriend, Geno Doak was also released.
Mama June could be facing jail time, as the penalty for the felony possession is up to one year in jail.
The arrest followed reports from the public that the pair had engaged in a physical scuffle at a gas station.
At the time, Doak was arrested for domestic violence/harassment, felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, according to TMZ.
The drugs were discovered after police searched the couple’s truck.
Shannon was also found with drug paraphernalia that included a needle and a pipe containing a white residue, as well as US$1,340 in her bra.
TMZ has reported that Geno was ‘ordered by the court to stay away from June after the incident,’ however they were seen together at a casino playing the slot machines just three days later.
