During their Married At First Sight Wedding, Nick revealed to Cyrell’s protective brother that he had suffered a form of testicular cancer when he was 24.
He asked him not to tell her, as it was a discussion he wanted to have with her personally.
On the Jan. 31 episode of Married At First Sight, Nick broke the news to Cyrell during their honeymoon, after setting up an array of flowers, champagne and candles.
“I just wanted to show you that I care about you and I wanted to bring you here to talk to you and maybe try and open up a bit more,” he says.
Cyrell responds, “I’d like that.”
“Four years ago I was laying in bed and had a real sore tummy,” Nick says, revealing he was sent for various scans.
“Eventually the surgeon called me up and asked me to make an appointment for this date and can I bring my parents along.”
Nick continued, “and yeah, found out that at 24 I had cancer.”
Cyrell immediately broke down at the revelation.
“It was just a real s—t time in my life.”

“I wasn’t expecting that and I’m so sorry,” Cyrrell says, before telling producers, “I really feel for him”.
But Nick wasn’t finished, having to reveal something even more personal.
“There’s more.”
“There was a few side effects from the surgery. This is pretty full on. It’s a bit of a weird sort of situation,” Nick says. “They severed a nerve that prevents me from ejaculating.”
Going into even more personal details, Cyrrell was clearly in shock.
“I still orgasm, but nothing comes out.”

“What’s the chance of you having a baby?” Cyrell asks.
“I can still have kids but it’s got to be through IVF.”
Luckily for Nick, Cyrell was more than understanding.
“I need you to know that I do want kids one day – but it doesn’t mean I don’t like you anymore and if we do get to that stage where I do find myself head over heels for you, then we will find a way.”
