Maccas memories.

Most Aussies would be able to recall a memory from McDonald’s during their lifetime.

Whether it’s collecting Happy Meal toys, having a birthday party – complete with ice-cream cake – at one of the fast-food chain’s restaurants, a drive-through dash on the way home from holidays, or indulging in a Big Mac after a night out, the golden arches unlock core memories for many.

And if that hasn’t stirred up the nostalgia for you, care to remember sitting by Ronald McDonald on the bench or on the cheeseburger chairs?

What about nabbing your very own Grimace or Hamburglar toy – some of which are worth serious cash these days?

Something that will also go down in history is the commitment by McDonald’s Australia to making a difference by helping to raise vital funds to support families with children who are ill or injured through its Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).

Since launching in 1991, McHappy Day has raised in excess of $79 million for RMHC, helping to support more than 69,000 families every year.
