Over the weekend, royal fans got a new look inside what Meghan Markle is really like thanks to Gayle King’s brand new documentary “Meghan and Harry Plus One – which you can watch below.
But royal insiders believe Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – who recently welcomed son Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor – have broken royal protocol.
The CBS documentary aired in the US over the weekend and featured some of the former actress’ closest friends.
Her makeup artist Daniel Martin and actress Jessica Alba were seen defending Meghan.
“Our belief is Meghan has been aware of this TV project for at least the last month and hoped that certain allies and friends spoke out,” a source told The Sun.
“She wants her case put on US TV in the strongest possible fashion.
“Meghan believes she is her own best PR.”
The source says Meghan helped orchestrate the production before Archie was born.
“She even met with Gayle to discuss the show days before she went into labour,” the source added.
According to source Meghan’s involvement with the documentary concerned other Royal Family members after they had thought she’d lay low in the months following little Archie’s arrival.
“Senior members of the Royal Family raised eyebrows about this.
“This is the way a Hollywood celebrity acts, not someone married to an heir to the throne.”
The source’s comments about Meg’s involvement were all but confirmed when a CBS insider told The Sun that some of the guest interviewees received “the blessing of Meghan” prior to taking part.
