Paulini sentenced for bribing government employee

Paulini has been handed a six month suspended sentence after she pleaded guilty to bribing a government employee to obtain a fake driver’s licence.

The former Australian Idol contestant, 35, pleaded guilty in September after paying a Roads and Maritime Services employee $850 to get the unrestricted licence. 

Court documents also revealed that the Fijian-born singer had 11 driving offences since earning her learner’s driving licence in 2002.
