The only super moon of 2017 visible with the naked eye will appear on Monday December 4.
The incredible event occurs when there is a full moon at the same time the moon is closest to Earth’s orbit.
The best time to watch the phenomenon will be just after sunset as the moon starts to rise. This will be at around 8pm on the east coast of Australia.

If you can’t watch it live, the Virtual Telescope Project will be live streaming it.
