Tekashi 6ix9ine was hospitalised after allegedly being ‘beaten, kidnapped and robbed’ in Brooklyn.
According to TMZ, the rapper was filming a music video over the weekend and was attacked when he arrived home at 4am on Sunday morning when another car pulled up on his driveway.
TMZ claim that “3 hooded gunmen got out of the other car, grabbed Tekashi and pistol whipped him … knocking him unconscious.”
The assailants then allegedly forced him into the car and robbed US$750k in jewellery and US$15k-$20k in cash from his house.
Tekashi’s daughter and her mother were inside the house at the time of the incident but were unharmed.
The rapper managed to escape from the car and “jumped in the passenger seat of a stranger’s vehicle and pleaded for help” before 911 was called and he was hospitalised.
Since news of the first story broke, TMZ report that Tekashi told a different version to that of the police.
He claims that a vehicle ran into him at a traffic light where he was attacked by two men with guns, who then drove to his home where he was robbed.
During this time he managed to ‘escape’, call the police and check himself into hospital.
