In public, the Queen is the picture of stoic resilience and calm. But in private the 93-year-old monarch is said to be wracked with grief over the bitter fall out between her grandchildren, Prince William and Prince Harry.
A new report from The Sun claims Her Majesty’s heart has been broken by William and Harry and she “does not care for the alleged feud” between the brothers.
“Her Majesty does not care for the alleged feuding amongst her grandchildren William and Harry,” Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine told the publication.
“That would make her very sad. But she would never interfere with their lives.”
The latest update in the royal saga follows months of rumoured fights between the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex. Last month, Harry and wife, Meghan Markle confirmed they were officially parting ways from the Royal Foundation, the joint charity they had set up with William and his wife, Kate Middleton, to set up their own organisation.

Earlier this year the royal couples also confirmed they had split their households via a statement from Buckingham Palace.
“The Queen has agreed to the creation of a new Household for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, following their marriage in May last year,” the statement read.
“The Household, which will be created with the support of The Queen and The Prince of Wales, will be established in the spring.”
“The Queen has given permission for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex to base their Household Office at Buckingham Palace.
“Their Royal Highnesses will appoint new communications staff, who will form part of the Buckingham Palace communications team and report to The Queen’s Communications Secretary, Donal McCabe.”
Given the increasing tension between William and Harry, it is perhaps no surprise that it was recently reported that the Queen favours spending time with her other grandchild, Zara and her husband Mike Tindall.
“They are certainly light relief,” Ms Seward confirmed, adding that their shared love of horse means they have a lot in common.
