While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to have alienated themselves from the royal family following recent events, there’s one person that has got the Queen’s seal of approval…step forward, Kate Middleton.

The Duchess of Cambridge is said to have impressed the British monarch with her “unflappable” attitude, according to a new report from Vanity Fair.
While the 93-year-old and the duchess aren’t believed to be particularly close, the Queen admires the way Kate juggles family and royal life, and was especially pleased with her recent tour to Pakistan.
A source told Vanity Fair: “The Queen is a fan. Kate is unflappable.
“Her mantra is very like the Queen’s keep calm and carry on approach in life, and she has the added benefit of making the Royal Family seem almost normal and in touch.”
The Duchess’ biographer, Claudia Joseph says that Kate’s “relatable” nature and her preference for wearing affordable clothes has helped get her into the Queen’s good books.
“She’s very much the girl next door, from how she dresses to how she behaves and interacts with people on engagements,” said Joseph.
“She is likeable and relatable and that has made her very popular.”
Claudia added that 2019 has been “Kate’s year”, with a number of successful engagements and her first ever TV interview.
