Former royal Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson has revealed her true feelings about the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.
58-year-old Fergie once lived a very similar life to and mum-of-three Kate, 36. The ex-royal family member married ex-husband Prince Andrew in a grand royal wedding at Westminster Abbey just like Kate and Prince William.
Fergie and Andrew, the son of Queen Elizabeth, also honeymooned in Canada, as did Kate and William.
But in a new interview, the mum of Princess Eugenie and Beatrice has opened up about her thoughts on Kate as reported on Express UK.
“What’s interesting is that I would never presume to give Catherine advice because she’s doing so well,” Fergie said in an interview conducted shortly after the couple’s 2011 wedding, which the ex-royal was not invited to.
“She looks fabulous, she’s beautiful and fabulous and they look so in love and it’s a great story.”
Despite not being invited to Kate and William’s wedding, Fergie did score an invite to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s nuptials in May this year.
Her daughter Princess Eugenie will tie the knot in October at the same location.
