When it comes to beauty, it’s an unfortunate reality that living in Australia often means being a few months, if not years, behind the rest of the world.
Every beauty-obsessed local will tell you stories of frustration, where they’ve had to watch videos of international influencers and creators testing, trying and raving about products all the while not knowing when we’ll be able to get our hands on it.
So when one of those brands finally lands on our shores, it’s always cause for celebration.
The latest is Naturium, which just launched in Sephora. Founded in 2019, the California skincare company is all about products that work hard and fast.
When former beauty editor and YouTuber, Susan Yara, joined the brand in 2020, she set out to establish Naturium as a leader in scientifically-backed skincare. “In the beginning, it was more of a clean beauty brand, and I saw a lot more potential for it as a scientific, clinical brand,” Susan explained to Vogue Business.
With Naturium, she sought to create powerful skincare products that don’t come with a steep price tag. “We saw there were a lot of products that could just be better, and that’s really what we do at Naturium,” she told ELLE Australia.
The brand is particularly popular with beauty editors and experts, confirming its IYKYK status.
But they also count Hailey Bieber as a fan, too.
As the founder of Rhode, Hailey rarely speaks about products that aren’t from the brand.
So when she does talk about something, we take note.
That was the case a few months ago when she revealed she had gone through multiple jars of the Naturium Glow Getter Multi-Oil Body Butter.
Posting a photo of the product to her Instagram stories in May 2025, Bieber raved about the body butter.
“I’ve been using this since I was pregnant and I’ve probably gone through 15 jars of it at this point,” Bieber captioned the photo.
Talking to ELLE Australia, Susan said that she confirmed with Hailey herself that she had purchased the product of her own volition. “She didn’t even get it through our PR because I didn’t have her address, so I was like, ‘How did you find it?’” Susan explained. “And she just [said she] purchased it, and then just kept buying tubs of it for her pregnancy, and then continued using it [ever since].”
