If there’s one thing the 2020s will be remembered for style-wise, it’s the concept of ‘’activewear’’.

And JAGGAD, the brand bought and re-launched in 2013 by two of AFL’s most high-powered couples, has been at the forefront of the trend.

Good activewear takes exercise gear from the gym to the street – and no-one knows more about that than ex-AFL stars Chris Judd and Steven Greene and their partners Rebecca Judd and Michelle Greene.

In the hands of the Judd and Greene team, the triathlon brand was reinvented as a stylish sports, training and lifestyle label encompassing high-performance athletics pieces with more casual ‘’athleisure’’ items.

What celebrities wear JAGGAD?

Celebrity fans and followers of JAGGAD include the likes of former Miss Universe Australia Jennifer Hawkins, Olympic athletes Morgan Mitchell and Annabelle Smith,  and fellow former AFL ‘’WAG’’ Nadia Bartel.

But JAGGAD has been a hit with everyday shoppers too.

‘’I’ve tried quite a few different leggings from various brands, but these I have to say are my favourites,’’ one shopper wrote after buying a pair of high-waisted leggings.

‘’They wash and wear very well, they are made from a really good quality material that doesn’t stretch out and get loose over time.’’

‘’The material is so beautiful and soft,’’ wrote another after buying a JAGGAD hoodie.

‘’It’s amazing and looks great with anything.’’

Another fan raved about one of the brand’s pink crop tops with crossover straps at the back.

‘’Absolutely love this pink, my fully supported Crop to wear from high intensity to yoga,’’ said a third.

‘’Add this one to the collection, it really doesn’t disappoint.’’

Is JAGGAD having a winter sale?

While we tend to think of activewear as being all about crop tops and bike shorts, most athleisure brands fully cater for the winter workout, too.

And there’s certainly nothing like a winter sale to encourage you out from under the covers on chilly mornings and into your exercise regime.

Online, JAGGAD is currently offering a three tops for $66 deal, while numerous pieces are on sale.

The Classic Keyline Sweater in Red, normally priced at $79, is now on sale for $39.50, while the Studio Classic Hoodie in Navy Stripe is down from $109 to $54.50.

Other bargains include the Essential High Waist Full Length Legging (in black or white), reduced from $79 to $34.50; the Arlberg Cropped Trench Jacket in Sand, reduced from $199 to $59.70’ and the Essential Mid Line Puffer Jacket, reduced from $249 to $124.50.

What does Rebecca Judd wear from the JAGGAD range?

Asked about the key ingredient of good activewear, Rebecca Judd said being comfortable was most important.

‘’Exercise can be hard enough without your garment rubbing, slipping or flapping around,’’ she said in a Q&A on the JAGGAD website.

‘’For winter I like a full-length legging and for hotter weather I either go with a shorter-length legging or a comfy little short.

‘’I also prefer a slightly longer length in my tanks (tank tops) so it doesn’t ride up when exercising.

‘’We cater to this well at JAGGAD.’’

What are the key pieces in Rebecca Judd’s wardrobe?

As for her own personal style, Rebecca said she had two go-tos: Her JAGGAD wear and a few key dressy items.

‘’I live in my JAGGAD most of the time,’’ she revealed.

‘’But if I’m not, it’s usually a skinny-leg jean or leather legging with a well-cut tee or silk cami.

‘’I rarely wear heels these days, so it’s a flat Chloe boot or a chic designer sneaker.

‘’For event dressing like the red carpet or races, I always go with a statement colour.’’
