BREAKING: Terror as shooter attacks world famous Christmas market

Four people are confirmed dead, and 11 are reported to be in a critical condition following a mass shooting at one of the world’s most famous Christmas markets.

The renowned market in Strasbourg, France, came under attack when the gunman – who is known to police – attacked shoppers taking in the Christmas tradition.

A shop worker told France’s BFM TV: ‘There were gun shots and people running everywhere. It lasted about 10 minutes.’
