The singer, 37, will hit the road in May 2021, taking his Together Again tour around Australia.

“The live music scene in our country has been decimated throughout the pandemic and to see it start coming alive again brings so many emotions to the surface,” Callea tells WHO.

“And the thing is with music, it’s all about emotion and how it makes you feel and in times like these we all need to feel and be connected again. Live music does this!”

WHO: What can we expect from your Together Again tour and how does it feel to be getting back on stage?

Callea: I can’t express in words how excited I am about getting back on stage. Music is good for our souls and it brings people together and we need it in our lives! I can’t wait to revisit songs from my past seven albums and perform some of the new material I’ve released in the past year.

Are you working on new music at the moment?

I’m always working, my head never turns off. New music helped get me through 2020, with releasing songs ‘Lonely’ and ‘Shadows’. I’m working towards the tour now, but will most likely share some more new music early in the new year.

How did you spend the past few months in lockdown?

With [husband] Tim [Campbell] and I being Victorians, the lockdown was definitely not fun or easy. Seeing Victoria now starting to open up again really puts a big smile on my face! Being able to see my family and friends again is beyond exciting.
