Billy Ray Cyrus appeared on US television this week to promote his new show, Still The King, and at the same time hinted his daughter Miley and Liam Hemsworth could be heading down the aisle.
The country singer confirmed the smitten actors are in fact an item, telling hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, “They’re really happy together right now.”
With Billy Ray, 54, portraying an Elvis obsessed minister on his new show, the father-of-six joked, “They know if they need a preacher, they’ve found one”.
Cyrus, 23, and Hemsworth, 26, have not confirmed their wedding plans, but ever since the pair was spotted together for New Year’s Eve in Australia, Miley has been wearing her engagement ring on numerous occasions. They also spent time with the Hemsworth family in Byron Bay and attended a friend’s wedding together in April.

The A-listers originally became engaged in June 2012 after meeting onset of The Last Song and dated for three years, ending the engagement in September 2013.
Liam, 26, opened up about his current relationship status in a May interview with GQ Australia, “People will figure it out. They already have. … They’re not dumb.”
