Are Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart together in real life?
Yes! James and Ada are together. They even celebrated their first anniversary earlier this year.
Marking the milestone in April 2025, Ada shared a selection of snaps from their anniversary dinner, captioning the moment, “Just perfect ❤️”. James, 49, and Ada, 48, enjoyed a romantic meal at Bondi restaurant Mimi’s, complete with caviar and a sweet anniversary card from staff.
What’s amazing is that James and Ada’s real-life anniversary is roughly the same as their on-screen one. While Ada shared the photos of their anniversary on April 6, this is only three days from when their characters were married on screen. The episode of Justin and Leah’s wedding was aired on April 9, 2024.
When did James Stewart and Ada Nicodemou start dating?
While we may never know exactly when things heated up between the two actors, they were first spotted heading on a date on Anzac Day 2024. At the time, a source close to them confirmed Ada and James had “been on a few dates”, describing them as “singles mingling”.
In July 2024, Ada opened up about her relationship with James after months of speculation.
“Look, you know, whether (the romance) is out there or not, it doesn’t really change our relationship,’’ she told Sunrise. “We’re happy. We’re together,’’ she added. “James is such an amazing actor. I love working with him. That’s not changed as well. Yeah, so whether it’s out there or not doesn’t really change anything for us.’’
In August, they made their official red carpet debut at the 2024 Logie awards.
Who is James Stewart’s ex wife?
Prior to getting together, both Ada and James had split from their most-recent exes.
James’ had been in a relationship with fellow Home And Away actress Sarah Roberts. Sarah, who played Willow on the soap, and James had been dating since 2017 and were married in 2019. Their split came amid rumours of a blossoming romance between James and Ada after the 2023 Christmas party.
Ada also split from her partner of eight years, Adam Rigby, at the end of 2023.
Prior to his marriage to Sarah Roberts, James Stewart also had a high-profile relationship with his Packed to the Rafters co-star Jessica Marais, with whom he shares a child. James and Jessica were engaged since October 2010, but split before marrying in 2015.

Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart launched their relationship on the Logie Awards red carpet.
The duo looked relaxed and smiled as they chatted away ahead of the awards ceremony, holding hands and laughing as they posed on the red carpet wearing matching outfits.
Speaking to TV WEEK on the red carpet, the pair revealed they were loving their shared look.
“I know, I love that we’re matching,” James said.
“We look really good, I think,” Ada added, revealing it “feels great” to be walking the red carpet together.
“We’re really happy. Obviously we work together, so we were always going to be here together. But I’m just so excited to share the night with you [James],” the star told her man.
“I cannot wait to dance together at the after party,” she went on. “We’re gonna dance the night away. And I mean, James can dance. How good was he on Dancing with the Stars. He knows how to move!”
