With Rihanna’s first pregnancy revealed in a sweet photoshoot with beau A$AP Rocky in New York, and her second during her 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, it was to be expected that the singer would be looking to top those announcements for her third. And that she did, when the 37-year-old strode out onto the famed Met Gala steps on May 5, with her blossoming bump on full display.

Wearing custom Miu Miu, the singer stunned as she showed off her growing belly – confirming recent rumours that she is expecting her third child.
Just hours before, the singer had stepped out wearing a grey, ribbed two-piece skirt set which showed off a hint of her stomach as she walked the streets of NYC at the same time beau Rocky was hitting the steps of the MET.
The couple are already parents to sons RZA Athelston Mayers, 3, and Riot Rose, 20 months, with the singer previously calling motherhood “legendary”. “It’s everything,” she told British Vogue in 2023. “You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever.”

Despite insiders revealing that Rihanna felt her “family is now complete” after welcoming Riot, the star has always hinted that she’d like a big family. “I’ll have kids,” she told British Vogue in 2020 before becoming a mum. “Three or four of ‘em.”
And last year, she further hinted there were more bubs to come. “As many as God wants me to have,” Rihanna replied when asked how many kids she wanted to have by Interview magazine. “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”

While Rihanna is yet to share the gender of baby number three, she and Rocky may have already locked in on a name. According to the rapper’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, the couple were so happy about his not-guilty verdict during a courtroom appearance in February – where he was facing two felony counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm – they made him a promise.
“Rihanna and Rocky said to me in the courtroom yesterday, they grabbed me, and they said, ‘Listen, our next baby is A$AP Joe,’” Tacopina told Extra at the time.
