If families that play together really do stay together, then Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have cracked the secret to living happily ever after.
The musicians recently soaked up the sun with their two boys while enjoying a trip to Barbados, where Rihanna was born and raised.
RZA, 2, held tightly onto his mum as she carried her son into the water for a dip. Showing he has the streak of a daredevil in him, Riot, 1, enjoyed splashing about as his father threw him up into the air, before paddling in the ocean.
The family visited Barbados to attend the island nation’s annual carnival, the Crop Over Festival.

On August 5, Rihanna helped open the celebrations, stepping out in an elaborate feathered and jewelled number, before embracing a more laid-back look as she enjoyed time with her family.
Despite their combined star power, Rihanna and A$AP could easily be confused for any normal family as they hung out with their little ones.
The hands-on parents have forgone the traditional nanny route many celebrities take when they welcome kids.

“We came home, cold turkey, had no one. It was just us as parents and our baby,” Rihanna told People magazine after welcoming RZA. “You walk into the hospital as a couple and leave as a family of three. It’s nuts. And oh, my gosh, those first days are insane. You don’t sleep. At all. Not even if you wanted to.”
She has also revealed that her rapper partner isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty and has always been happy to change his fair share of nappies.
“Rocky has never shied away from it,” she revealed to Interview. “He does the shirt up over the nose with a stinky diaper. He gets through it. It’s kind of funny.”
The couple first met at a rehearsal for the MTV Music Awards in 2012.
“He grabbed my a–!” she said of the cheeky introduction.

They went on to collaborate a few times over the years but remained friends as they dated others. That all changed when things turned romantic between the couple in 2019, with them living together over the pandemic before welcoming their first son less than three years later.
“I think we do a real good job at collaborating and making children,” A$AP told Complex magazine. “I think that’s our best creation so far. Nothing’s better than that.”
