Good news for Robert Irwin fans (aren’t we all?!). The Wildlife Warrior is about to be everywhere.
A new report reveals that Robert “is at the centre of an all-out network bidding war”.
After a few years fronting I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, Paramount is believed to be keen to get him lined up for more shows on Channel 10.
The 22-year-old is set to make an appearance on the upcoming season of MasterChef Australia, with judge Andy Allen telling The WHO Group Chat podcast that he was seriously impressed by his food knowledge and cooking skills.
“I was so surprised at the guy’s food knowledge, how much he cooks, how much he loves to eat and how much he just knows about food,” Allen said. “He ran in with high ‘Irwin energy’ to start and then the contestants were, like me, blown away with how much he knew about food, how much he cared about food, how much he cared about Native Australian ingredients, how much he cared about sustainability.”
“I was like, man, you have just given Australia, especially the female population of Australia, just another reason to swoon over you, mate, because now everyone knows you can cook so you’re just ticking more boxes. It’s amazing.”
What other shows could Robert Irwin host?
Another potential hosting opportunity for Irwin could be an Australian reboot of Ninja Warrior.

“Robert is exactly what Ten needs right now,” a source told Daily Mail Australia.
“He’s relatable, he’s got that natural charm and audiences absolutely love him. They want him across the board,” the source adds. ‘If these deals land, Robert becomes their biggest asset.”
Other networks bidding for Robert Irwin
The one thing throwing a spanner in the works, though, is that 10 are believed to face stiff competition from rival networks, with Channel 7 reportedly keen to have Irwin on Dancing With the Stars after his winning turn on the US version last year.

“Seven sees huge potential in him,” the source said. “They think he could take DWTS into a new era.”
However, they may have to get in line with Disney also in the mix.
Robert has also been filming a spin-off series of DWTS, Dancing With The Stars: The Next Pro, in Brisbane
Production on the Disney/BBC series, which Robert is hosting, is into its second week of filming.

Robert’s former DWTS pro partner, Witney Carson, is also expected to arrive in Australia imminently to join him.
If the networks get serious about signing him up on an exclusive deal, it could leave Robert smiling all the way to the bank and big figures are being thrown about.
While we don’t know yet where he will end up, one thing is very clear: Everybody loves Robert.
