Sharon Osbourne has opened up about the tender final moment she shared with Ozzy Osbourne before his death, revealing the soft, simple words that became their final exchange after more than 40 years of marriage.
Speaking on the Dec. 10 episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored, Sharon recalled the early-morning moment that she now realises was Ozzy’s way of saying goodbye. The Black Sabbath legend passed away in July at age 76.

“He was up and down to the bathroom all night, and it was 4:30 a.m., and he said, ‘Wake up,’” she shared tearfully. “I said, ‘I’m already bloody awake, you’ve woken me up.’”
What happened next is the moment that Sharon now holds closest. “He said, ‘Kiss me,’” she continued. “And then he said, ‘Hug me tight.’”
Sharon admitted she didn’t understand the significance of the moment until later.
“If only I’d have told him I loved him more,” she said. “If only I’d have held him tighter.”
Ozzy died the following day after suffering a heart attack shortly after a brief workout.
Sharon said she ran downstairs when she realised something was wrong.
“I ran downstairs, and there he was. They were trying to resuscitate him, and I’m like, ‘Don’t—just leave him. Leave him. You can’t. He’s gone.’”

In the days leading up to his death, Sharon said Ozzy had been having vivid dreams that felt unsettling at the time but now seem almost symbolic.
“He was seeing people that he never knew,” she explained.
“He goes, ‘All different people. And I just keep walking and walking, and I’m seeing all these different people every night, and I go back there and I’m looking at these people, and they’re looking at me, and nobody’s talking.’”
Reflecting on it now, Sharon believes he sensed what was coming. “He knew,” she added. “He was ready.”

Despite the heartbreak of losing their family’s patriarch, the Osbournes have also welcomed a moment of joy.
Earlier this week, Jack Osbourne announced that he and his wife Aree Gearhart are expecting their fifth baby together — news he was able to share with his dad before he passed.
“It’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing,” he said in an interview with The Sun on Sunday, adding that Ozzy was “excited” over the news. “It’s very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked in a bit more hopefulness.”
“It was maybe a little earlier than expected,” Jack continued. “But it’s definitely something that we were wanting to pursue and somehow it happened, miraculously.”
