At this stage, Shawn is not publicly dating anyone, however, he has most recently been linked to 30-year-old Portuguese singer and YouTuber Maro.
The first sighting of the rumoured new couple appeared in April 2025, with photos shared by the Daily Mail showing the pair on a coffee run together in Los Angeles.
While the sighting appeared platonic, fans quickly started speculating over whether the pair were *actually* dating after they were spotted out and about together the following day.
Prior to the most recent rumours, Shawn was last linked to Charlie Travers after the Canadian singer was spotted with her at the beach in November 2023.
Charlie, who starred on the 14th season of Big Brother and Shawn were spotted again the following day grabbing smoothies together in Los Angeles. The pair, who are 26 and 38 respectively, never confirmed or denied the status of their relationship.
The latest rumours came just months after Shawn was also linked to his 51-year-old chiropractor, Jocelyne Miranda.
Shawn first sparked dating rumours when he was spotted visiting a farmer’s market in West Hollywood in November 2022 alongside his chiropractor, and the pair were routinely photographed around LA.
They were photographed shopping, grabbing lunch together and hiking, however, the pair never confirmed nor denied the rumours.

Convinced? Look, we know it’s a bit of a stretch…but in December 2024, Shawn himself seemingly addressed the love triangle theories during an appearance on John Mayer‘s new SiriusXM show, How’s Life.
“I’m with someone. Two days before going to hang with my ex, [I] express I’m going to hang with my ex because I have unresolved feelings,” he explained in a preview clip. “Maybe instead of two days it could have been two weeks.”
“The biggest lesson I’ve heard is no one gets out of this life without getting hurt, and no one gets out of this life without hurting someone,” he continued.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello dated for two years before splitting in November 2021. Both singers announced their split on Instagram stories, sharing a statement.
“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship, but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever,” they wrote in the joint statement. “We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.”
However, the pair sparked reconciliation rumours when they were spotted kissing at Coachella in 2023. Whilst the pair didn’t publicly comment on the photos, they were photographed again the following month looking cosy while waiting in line for a comedy show at Hollywood Improv on Melrose Avenue.
Although fans have jumped to the conclusion that Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello were dating again, a source previously explained to Entertainment Tonight that the pair were just exploring the possibility of dating again, nearly two years after splitting.
“Shawn and Camila aren’t officially back together, but they are enjoying each other’s company and seeing where things go,” the source said in early 2023. “When they met up and kissed at Coachella, they were having fun and being in the moment together. They are both attracted to each other and care about one another a lot. They are having fun.”
By June 2023, the pair had reportedly ended their rekindled romance, with a source telling Entertainment Tonight, “Shawn and Camila broke up and are no longer seeing each other. They gave things a try, but ultimately, the timing isn’t right for either of them. They’re both staying busy and doing their own things.”
