You seemed to be a fan favourite despite the fact you weren’t onscreen a lot. Have you seen the memes people have made about you?

[Yelps] No!! What?!

There are memes out there comparing you to Dr Yang on Grey’s Anatomy.

Oh, people have told me that before. Now I don’t know if I want to look at those memes. [Laughs]

We didn’t see you getting much alone time with Richie, at least not onscreen. Did you, in fact, have time together?

You didn’t see any of it on camera, and in total we probably had about 20 minutes together. But that’s cool. When you’re at cocktail parties, you only have a limited amount of time. So 20 minutes is pretty standard. And look, I think we could both tell from the conversations we had that we weren’t very suited to each other. I’m obviously very spiritual. I don’t think Richie is. We’re just different personalities, we have different ways of communicating, and everything we spoke about was quite surface. I managed to talk about my dad passing. I heard a bit about his family. It was all very quick. We didn’t get very deep about much.

What kind of woman is his type?

Someone who’s… I think someone like Megan. She’s a bit goofy as well. She’s blonde, really pretty, really lovely. Personality wise, Nikki and Megan are his type. But they’re also very different, so I’m not sure if I can pick out specific traits that attract Richie. Looking at how he interacted with them, though, you can tell they’re his type.

If you’d stayed in the mansion longer, what do you think Richie would have learnt about you?

That I have a very funny, goofy side. He really only got to see the Zen side of me that doesn’t like to get involved with drama. But once I’m comfortable, there’s a  crazier side that come out. But, you know, he saw enough of me.

So there’s nothing you would have done differently to have stayed on longer?

Not a thing. I’m happy with how I was portrayed. Pretty much from the start, I thought, okay – he’s definitely handsome. And when we first met, I didn’t know if there was an actual spark there or if I was just very excited. So I was interested in seeing how that developed, and excited for it. But it became very clear soon after that we were just going to be friends. I’m fine with that.

You certainly seem to have sparked with a lot of your housemates. Most of the women I’ve spoken to so far have mentioned you when I ask who they befriended in the house. Why is that?

That’s so sweet. And it’s definitely true. One of the questions I was asked before going in was how I thought would get along with girls. And I said I was really easygoing. I didn’t’ have any issues with anyone in the house, and I still keep in touch with most of the girls.

Who were you closest to?

I have to laugh because it’s Keira and Eliza—two of the more stronger personalities! You know, it’s funny. Keira was the only other girl who brought a yoga mat in the house–straightaway, we saw each other and were like: you! I know people see a different side to her, but we clicked. She cooked me breakfast in the morning, I taught her yoga in return. And Eliza is just lovely, just real. We had conversations like I would have with my best girlfriends.

We all know what Keira’s like. But was there anyone else in the house we might see coming out of their shell and causing a stir in the same way?

From what I could see, Rachael’s a little bit like that, too. In being outspoken and not afraid to speak her mind, Rachael’s right up there with Keira.
