The last few episodes of Farmer Wants A Wife show no signs of easing up on the drama – and thank goodness for that!
After abruptly running away from Farmer Dylan’s property upon learning that he had shared a cheeky kiss with Keeley, fans may have thought they had seen the last of frontrunner Ally – at least until the promos for future episodes teased her return!
Dylan, however, was certain it was over for good, telling WHO that it was a massive surprise when she walked back in during the Black Tie Dinner.
According to the sheep farmer, his first reaction was: “No way!”
“And then my second thought was ‘that is the most gorgeous dress I reckon I’ve ever seen'”, he said. “It was like this chain medieval gold, shiny thing, and yeah, I remember it was bloody wicked.”
Sounds like a man in love, if you ask us!
He continued, “I think straight off the bat, I was just kind of like, ‘Oh no, this is going to throw some spanners in the works. But I’m also glad you’re back so we can figure out what’s going on from here.'”
Dylan’s shock reveal: ‘Like nothing I’ve probably ever experienced’
Reflecting on who he would have chosen, had Ally not returned, Dylan said, “Definitely, I think Scarlett.”
“Scarlett and I have this connection that is like nothing I’ve probably ever experienced,” he added. “It’s almost like we’re like best mates, like the way we muck around with each other, and I mean a lot of the stuff off camera, [where] we’d muck around all the time, kind of pay each other out, I suppose, bantering and all that, it is wicked.”
He continued, “I think at that moment in time I was like, well, this is definitely the way I’m headed, and it’s Scarlett. If Keeley had been there [earlier], I reckon I would have been stuck between those two, good and proper.”
His response might come as a surprise, particuarly to Scarlett herself, after she previously told WHO why she felt Dylan would never have picked her, even if Ally hadn’t returned.
‘I’m more like a wild card’
“I honestly thought that if it was Keely and I going into the final two, he would pick Keely,” she confessed. “I had a very strong connection with Dylan, and as Dylan mentioned, a lot was cut, so the audience isn’t seeing the full experience.
“But Keely just fit into Dylan’s life so well, whereas I’m more like a wild card.”
She continued, “I’m used to guys taking an option that is easier if they don’t like girls that are more outspoken. Don’t get me wrong. Keely is the most incredible person, but I would just say she’s more nice and kind.”
