The producers of Farmer Wants A Wife pushed the boundaries on Monday night, leaving the farmers in an incredibly awkward position—literally. In a bid to test physical chemistry, the remaining ladies were given two minutes each to get up close and personal with their respective farmers. The catch? The men were completely blindfolded.
For this chemistry test, each of the farmers was blindfolded, and the women were each given two minutes to essentially… have their way with the farmers (to an extent!), testing their physical chemistry. At the end, the farmers would tell the group which girl’s treatment they liked the most.
For Rachel, the challenge was a high-stakes opportunity to prove her worth to Farmer Alex, who has been visibly smitten with frontrunner Eddy.
The tension was already running high on Alex’s farm. Before the test, he had sent Suzannah home after she and Rachel discovered a secret letter Eddy had written to him. In the note, Eddy claimed she hoped Alex would explore other connections, but ultimately wished he would “find ours to be the best” in the end.

Speaking to WHO, Alex admitted that the producers knew exactly what they were doing.
“They’re creating a show that depends on people being uncomfortable in a lot of ways,” Alex said, adding that the intimacy test was “probably perfect for the show.”
He confessed the twist successfully rattled him. “For me, I was uncomfortable, and then they got some pretty candid reactions as a result of that… Up until around this point, I was pretty comfortable with everything, so they got some good TV out of me.”
For Farmer Zac, things were just as awkward.
“Oh my goodness, it’s probably exactly what you think it would be,” the apple farmer told us. “That was probably one of the hardest moments of the show.”
Zac went on to confess that he didn’t love being blindfolded, saying, “I had no idea what to expect, and especially being blindfolded – definitely wasn’t my ideal situation. But yeah, we made it through alright and had a fun time.”
“It obviously was an interesting challenge to do, and I had no idea what they were going to do, the things they did,” Farmer Jason added.

While most of the farmers were left guessing, Farmer Jason claimed he could easily tell who was who.
“It obviously was an interesting challenge to do… Like, obviously, Poppy just bloody would give me her bra or something,” he said, adding that “Logan’s was very obvious.”
Logan easily took the title for the cheekiest contestant of the night by placing Jason’s hands directly onto her breasts—a move that ruffled feathers among the other women. Intruder Kimberley made it clear she didn’t agree with the bold move.
“I could sort of sense who was who despite what each of them did, so I guess I had a feeling that who was who,” Jason revealed to us.
Logan also shared her version of events after Kimberley suggested it wasn’t right to put Jason’s hands on her chest in front of the group.
“We were all very uncomfortable with the challenge, because you don’t want to do that in front of other girls who are after the same guy as you. It was very awkward,” she told WHO. She noted that she and fellow contestant Poppy simply chose to lean into the absurdity of it all.
“Me and Poppy just decided to make it a bit of fun, to have a laugh and make it funny, make it not as serious and weird and awkward as it could have been.”
As for Kimberley’s disapproval? “I don’t really care,” Logan said.
